Indian Premier League, or the IPL, is the most awaited and fan-favourite T20 cricket tournament for cricket enthusiasts. The 2025 IPL, which began on 22 March 2025, is one of its many seasons that have taken unexpected turns. Initially, the tournament had 25 May 2025 as its conclusion date, but the schedule was disrupted due to the recent Indo-Pak border tensions.
The 2025 IPL has been on hold since 8 May 2025, the first innings of the Punjab Kings vs. Delhi Capitals. This match was abandoned due to technical errors and was postponed to 24 May 2025 as Match 66. The competition will resume on 17 May 2025 and follow the same match schedule. However, the 2025 IPL will now conclude on 3 June 2025.
KKR and RCB, the teams that began the 2025 IPL, will also inaugurate the league’s resumption. Thirteen group stage games remain until we enter the playoff stage. There are a few more hours until the cricket enthusiasts’ daily entertainment begins.
IPL Winners List Updated: All Champions from 2008 to 2025
It’s difficult to conclude which IPL team is the strongest because two teams have the most IPL trophies. Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians each have won the IPL five times. The Mumbai Indians have always had a bad start, but by the end of the season, they somehow climb back up.
On the other hand, there was a time when other IPL teams competed to reach the finals only to face the Chennai Super Kings. However, in the 2025 IPL, CSK has no hopes of reaching the top five. They have lost nine out of twelve games, placing them at the bottom of the table.

According to the point table, the top five teams are Gujarat Titans, Royal Challengers Bengaluru, Punjab Kings, Mumbai Indians, and Delhi Capitals. Kolkata Knight Riders, the 2024 IPL winner, is in sixth position, with some hopes of reaching the top five.
RCB will hope to win their first trophy this year, just like every other IPL season. Sunrisers Hyderabad had a good start this season, but seemed to have dropped down the ranks. Each team have at least 2-3 remaining games to rearrange their points and rise the ranks.
