The Global Super League 2025 is an international T20 cricket competition. However, the participation of the teams depends on the invitation from the organisers, the Cricket West Indies (CWI). The tournament will begin on 10 July 2025 and conclude with the final match on 18 July 2025. Five countries will compete in the GSL 2025 to win the trophy and the prize money. Guyana will host the Global Super League 2025.
The five countries will compete against each other in a round-robin format. This format will result in ten qualifying and a final match. It means that every match counts, and even a single game can make a difference. After the ten matches, the top two teams in the point table will advance to the finals.
The upcoming Global Super League is the tournament’s second Edition. In the 2024 Global Super League, the Rangpur Riders (Bangladesh Premier League) defeated Victoria of the Sheffield Shield (Australia).

The formats, regulations, and host country in the Global Super League 2025 is the same as the previous season. The only difference is the three teams that have been replaced, including the runner-up team. If you’re a cricket enthusiast, you may have seen or heard of these teams in some other domestic cricket competitions.
The winning prize money in the debut season of the Global Super League was $1 million. It will likely remain the same in the Global Super League 2025 because the number of participants is the same.
The Global Super League 2025 will inaugurate its debut match on 10 July 2025 at 7:30 PM IST / 02:00 PM GMT. The match will be held at the Providence Stadium, Guyana, between the Central Districts and Dubai Capitals.

Global Super League 2025 Teams
From the 2024 Global Super League, only the host team and the champions will be in the upcoming season. The Lahore Qalandars from the Pakistan Premier League, Victoria (the runner-up), and Hampshire Hawks of the English county club, from the debut season, are non-participants in the Global Super League 2025.
These three teams have been replaced by the Central Districts of New Zealand, the Hobart Hurricanes from the Big Bash League, and the Dubai Capitals of the International League T20.

Global Super League 2025 Venues
Guyana is the host country of the 2025 Global Super League. The host has picked Providence Stadium in Providence, Guyana, as the venue for the Global Super League 2025.
The venue is the same as the debut season of the tournament. Like the 2024 Global Super League, all the matches of the upcoming season will also be played on this venue. It’s also known as the Guyana National Stadium after it became the national stadium in 2006.
