The contracted players under the Sri Lanka Cricket board are categorized as per their performance and experience, A1, A2, B2, C1, C2, and A. Whereas the ‘A’ categories are a new proposal, the salary structure regarding this has not been revealed officially.

A1 categories are considered the top tier, where players receive a huge amount of Salary and allowances. The official details regarding the base salary as per categories have not yet been revealed by the board. But as per the previous contracts and proposals, the A1 category players will receive $100K, A2 will receive $80, and check it out below for the complete distribution.
Sri Lanka Cricket Players- ODI, Test, and T20I Match Fees:
The contracted players under the Sri Lanka Cricket board will receive an ODI and T20I match fee of $4000. On the other hand, the Sri Lanka cricket board also implemented a performance-based salary scheme in their annual contracts.

In Test Format, the match fees are increased by 100%, so players will receive double match fees, but on a merit basis. Apart from these, the Sri Lanka Cricket Board also provides bonuses for the series win and for the players who ranked among the top 10 in the ICC Rankings.
