The Indian Premier League 2025 began on the predetermined date of 22 March 2025. The teams were split into two groups to follow a double round-robin format. Out of 74 matches, the league has completed 57 group stage games. The tournament came to a stalemate on 7 May 2025 after completing the KKR vs. CSK match.
The initial 58th match of the IPL 2025 between the Punjab Kings and the Delhi Capitals was abandoned due to technical failure. Neither team has received any points for this particular match. Since 7 May 2025, India has not held a match of the 2025 IPL because of the Indo-Pak standoff.
The IPL 2025 has been postponed and will continue on 17 May 2025. Due to this change, the league will conclude on 3 June 2025 instead of 25 May 2025. The PK vs. DC match has been rescheduled for 24 May 2025 as Match 66.
The Gujarat Titan teams are the table toppers with 16 points and +0.793 NRR. The Chennai Super Kings are at the bottom of the point table this year with 6 points, losing nine out of 12 matches.
IPL 2025 Schedule: Remaining Matches List, Timings And Venues
The IPL 2025 schedule has been revised and updated, given the current situation. The matches will continue from 17 May 2025 to 3 June 2025. The first match is similar to the start of the current IPL season, with KKR and RCB facing each other for the second time. Thirteen venues hosted the previous 57 matches. However, six venues will host the upcoming games.

The table will contain the updated match list of the remaining matches, and there is no change in the timing. Each day will host a single match in the evening except on Sundays. Sundays will host two matches, one in the afternoon and one in the evening.

Playoff Stage
The venues for the playoff stage are under discussion. After the conclusion of the group stage, only the top four teams will advance to the playoff stage. It will consist of three matches to determine the two finalists of the IPL 2025.
