The India tour of England 2025 will begin on 30 May 2025 and conclude on 4 August 2025. It’s a Test series tour that is part of the 2025-2027 WTC (World Test Championship). The tour will consist of five official test matches between India and England. Although it’s a part of the World Test Championship, two Indian teams will travel to England and face two English teams. England will provide eight venues for the entire tour.
Each official test match between the teams will last five days. During the tour, there will be two sets of games: the official and the unofficial matches. In August 2024, the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) scheduled the upcoming 2025 tour.
In the 2023-2025 WTC, England toured India for the five-test series match. After losing the first test match against England, India went on to win the remaining four test matches. India won the test series against England 4-1. India ranked third on the 2023-2025 WTC point table.
India tour of England 2025 Team Squads
The Indian team has announced their squad for the 2025 India tour of England, whereas England has yet to reveal the squad. India has also announced its India A team squad, whereas, like England, England Lions haven’t mentioned the team members.
The Indian national team squad for the test series will be led by Shubhman Gill, with Rishabh Pant as their vice-captain.

India tour of England 2025 Match Date, Time and Venue
Excluding the unofficial test series and the final Test series of the 2023-2025 WTC. The Indian tour of England 2025 Test series will begin on 20 June 2025. The series will consist of the usual five test matches. Each game lasts for 5 days, and the team with the most victories wins the series.
After each gam there will be a gap of a few days before the next one begins. Following this order, the India vs. England series will conclude on 4 August 2025. Each test match will be held at a different venue. The series will start in Leeds, moving on to Birmingham, shifting to London, Manchester and back to the capital of England, London.
