The UEFA Womenโs Euro 2025 is an international football tournament among European countries. Sixteen teams will participate in the tournament, which will take place in July. The tournament will inaugurate and host two matches on 2 July 2025 and conclude the finals on 27 July 2025. Switzerland will host UEFA Womenโs Euro 2025 games across eight venues in eight host cities.
The UEFA Womenโs Euro 2025 will follow a round-robin format in the group stage. A total of 31 matches will be played, including the group stage, knockout stage, and the final game. The group stage will qualify the eight best teams, the top two from each group, to the knockout stage. The group stage offers three opportunities, whereas the knockout stage only provides one.
The knockout stage will pick the top four teams for the semifinal matches, which will determine the two finalists. Of course, we are well aware of what the winners of the final game prove. UEFA Womenโs EURO Winners List (2025 Update): Every Champion Since 1984
We cannot include the UEFA Womenโs Euro 2025 winners because the tournament has not yet begun. It is a quadrennial tournament, held every four years, but COVID-19 disrupted the schedule. Due to this, the previous UEFA Womenโs Euro was held in 2022 instead of 2021.
The above point brings us to England, the UEFA Womenโs Euro 2022 winners and soon-to-be defending champions. England won its first UEFA Womenโs Euro title after qualifying for the finals for the third time. England defeated Germany 2-1 to claim their championship.
Germany is the strongest team and has won the most UEFA Womenโs Euro titles. They have been to the finals nine times and won eight titles. Germany won the UEFA Womenโs Euro title six times consecutively from 1995 to 2013.
