In Football, players need to sign a contract before officially joining the squad, and there are various factors to complete a contract. Many times, Footballers state clauses which is in the best interest of the family and personal reasons, which clubs also agree upon.

In the year 1996, Giuseppe Reina signed an official contract with the Arminia Bielefeld team, but his contract clause was that the club must build a house every year he remains at the club. He represented them till 1999, and was looking forward to increasing his real estate property with three houses.

Arminia Bielefeld finds out the loophole in the clause regarding the size, material, and requirements that are not specified properly. Therefore, instead of a real house, they fulfilled his clause by giving him three Lego Houses.

Samuel Eto’O was a prominent striker and signed a record-breaking deal with the Anzhi Makhachkala club in Russia in 2011. But the Anzhi was based in the Dagestan region, and there were significant safety concerns for him and his family.

To tackle the safety concerns, Samuel Eto’O made out-of-the-box clauses that consist of a fully armored vehicle and a lavish mansion full of high security. Apart from these, his clause also insists that he will often have private travel arrangements which require a Private Jet due to regional stability and time.

AC Milan Club included a Strict ‘Good Conduct’ clause for Balotelli when he returned to the team after a loan from Liverpool. Balotelli was often talked about in the news because of his misconduct on and off the field.
