Just when he was asked to play in the Vijay Hazare Trophy by the selectors to keep his form, Rohit Sharma smashes a 62-ball century for Mumbai in the Vijay Hazare Trophy against Sikkim at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. This was the first match for both teams in Group D, and what a way the Mumbai team has started their Vijay Hazare Trophy 2025/2026 campaign.

Captain, Shardul Thakur took two wickets, with other bowlers apart from Sylvester DSouza getting a wicket each.

Rohit completed his century in just 62 balls, and what a return it was, they people might think of, but he did not stop there. He continued to score runs and hit boundaries against the bowlers.

It was in the 30th over when Rohit Sharma was stopped as Kranthi Kumar took his wicket, but it was too late then as Mumbai were just eight runs short when Rohit got out. Rohit Sharma scored a quick-fire 155 runs in just 94 balls, which included eighteen boundaries and nine big sixes.
