After beating the India Under-19 team in the Asia Cup Under-19 final, the Pakistan Under-19 Asia Cup team players are reported to earn PKR five million individually. Basically, the final was scheduled on the 21st of December 2025 at the ICC Academy Ground in Dubai. This was the second Under-19 Men’s Asia Cup title for the Pakistan Under-19 Asia Cup team.
Just a few months back, India won the Asia Cup 2025 and were not present the trophy after they denied to recieve the trophy from Mohsin Naqvi due to the geographical tensions between the two nations. This time, nothing has been done as the trophies and the medals are presented to the Pakistan Under-19 Asia Cup team. An additional cash prize for all players is also reported, and it is yet to be confirmed.

Pakistan Under-19 Asia Cup team: Mohsin Naqvi, award cash prizes of PKR five million each for the junior team players?
The Pakistan team was batting first in the final and posted a huge total of 347/8 in their 50 overs. It was a Sameer Minhas show as he scored 172 runs in just 113 runs, which included 17 boundaries and nine massive hits. Ahmed Hussain also chipped in with 56 runs from 72 balls. India had nothing in reply as they were bowled out for just 156 runs, as the Pakistan under-19 team won the match by 191 runs. Ali Raza was the pick of the bowlers for the Pakistan team.
With a great performance in the under-19 tournament, this is a great thing as their team needed this boost and to get a win against India, and that too in a final in which they have outclassed so many times, is surely a win for the Pakistan team. Shahbaz Sharif, who is the current Prime Minister of Pakistan, was really proud of their boys and will host a reception for the winning team once they return home.
Sameer Minhas was the Man of the Match in the final and was also awarded the Under-19 Asia Cup 2025 Player of the Series. He was the top scorer in the competition with 471 runs in five matches. It has been reported that all players of the Pakistan Under-19 Asia Cup team who played the Under-19 Asia Cup 2025 will be awarded a cash prize of PKR five million, which still needs to be confirmed.
