Another team has announced its 15-member squad for the T20 World Cup. Basically, Nepal announces squad for ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026. The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 is all set to start from the 7th of February and end on the 8th of March. India and Sri Lanka are going to be the hosts of the competition this time. This is going to be the 10th edition of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup.
Out of the previous nine editions of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, Nepal have only managed to qualify for the second edition. One was in 2014, and the other was in 2024, which was the last edition. In the last edition, they did not manage to win a single match. They just had one point in the last edition, which they got after the match was abandoned due to rain. The upside for them would be back-to-back qualifications for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup.

Basically, Nepal is in Group C of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026. England, Bangladesh, Italy, and the West Indies are other teams in Nepal’s group for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026. Nepal’s first match in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 will be against England on 8th of February. Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai will be the venue. Nepal will play all of its matches at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026.
Rohit Paudel will be the captain of the Nepal team in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026. He is a young captain, and the board has given him the chance to lead the team on a big stage. Dipendra Singh Airee, who is a middle-order batter who also bowls off-spin, will be the vice captain of the Nepal team in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026. Kushal Bhurtel and Aasif Sheikh will be responsible for getting a great start to the innings with stability.
All eyes are on Sher Malla, the youngster who has been more or less a sensation in the Nepal Premier League, which awarded him a place in the 15-member squad for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026.
