Malaysia T10 Bash 2025 Squads Out! Check Complete Players List & Captains

The Malaysia T10 Bash is a very short-format cricket competition with only ten overs. It was established in the year 2020 and is organised by the Malaysia Cricket Association. Eight teams have ever participated in the tournament since it began. The Malaysia T10 Bash always finished after 15 matches played over 4 days. The tournament plays group stages with a single round-robin format.

Until now, four editions of the Malaysia T10 Bash have taken place. The Champions were decided, in the 4th edition (2024), after very intense competition, as five teams were tied for the highest points. Net Run Rate (NRR) was considered at that point, and JB Panthers were crowned champions with +5.142 NRR.

Before the 2024 season, the tournament was a single-stage event. The association changed the format and went with the JCC Trophy in two phases.

Malaysia T10 Bash 2025 Squads

The Malaysia T10 Bash has been held back-to-back each year from 2020, except in 2022. Each year, the competition calls every club to participate, and only the teams that register before the eight slots are filled get to play. Like last year, the upcoming edition will also take place in two phases.

Malaysia T10 Bash 2025: Overview of the Tournament

Malaysia T10 Bash 2025 will be the fifth edition of this tournament, starting from 25 July 2025. From that day, every day for the next four days shall be packed full of cricket matches. Within these four days, the eight teams will have wrapped up JCC Trophy Phase 1 on 28 July 2025.

All matches shall be played at Johor Cricket Academy Oval. The association has placed a prize money for the winners and runner-up teams. The winners of the 2025 Championship will take home RM 7,000, while the runner-up team will receive RM 4,500. In addition to that, there is cash prize money for the Best Bowler, Best Batter, and Most Sixes Award, worth RM 300 each.

Like every other year, the Malaysia T10 Bash 2025 will also consist of eight participating teams. Unlike some other leagues, this tournament doesn’t have franchise teams. Instead, they have eight cricket clubs playing against each other to determine the best cricket club of the year. Given below are the teams that will play Phase 1 of the JCC Trophy.

There are only a few days remaining before the Malaysia T10 Bash 2025 begins. The squads of all the teams have been prepared, but the list of captains and vice-captains has not been released. The teams are yet to decide their leader because the information is not listed even on the official website of the Malaysia Cricket Association.
