The IPL 2025, after two months, is in its playoff stage. The initial schedule would have produced the 18th IPL winner. The delay was due to the Palgham attack and its retaliation. Hence, the IPL was on temporary suspension from 9 May 2025 to 16 May 2025.
The IPL 2025 resumed from 17 May 2025 to 27 May 2025. Out of 74 games, several games were either abandoned or shortened due to untimely rain. By the end of the final match, we may or may not even have witnessed 70 complete games.
Regardless of that matter, the tournament has finished its qualifying rounds. Based on the points and run-rate, four teams have been determined for the playoff rounds.
