India Women’s Tour of Australia 2026 is all set to start from the 15th of February 2026 and end on the 6th of March 2026. The tour will start with a total of three T20Is, followed by a three-match ODI series, and it will end with the only test match in the series. The most recent fixture played between the two teams was the semi-final match in the ICC Women’s World Cup 2025 at the Dr DY Patil Sports Academy in Navi Mumbai. This will surely be more than a series for the Australian Women’s team as they long time veteran, Alyssa Healy, is all set to say goodbye to international cricket after this tour. She is the current captain of the Australian team in all formats, but she has announced that she would not be playing the T20I series as they does not want to interrupt their preparations for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026, which starts in June, as she won’t be a part of the team at that time. Now the question is who will be the captain of the Australian Women’s team.
When we look at the head-to-head record in the test format, the Indian Women’s team has yet to beat the Australian Women’s team. A total of ten matches have been played, as Australia has won four matches and six matches have ended in a draw. When we look at the ODI format, a total of 50 matches are played as Australia has won 40 matches and India has won 10 matches. Lastly, when we look at the T20I head-to-head record, a total of 31 matches have been played between the teams. Australia Women’s have won 23 matches, and India have won six. One match ended in a no result.
