ICC is confident that all the players, coaches, and other members of the management will be given the visas on time to travel to India for the games.

There is a player from the United States of America, Ali Khan, who, on his Instagram, claimed that he was denied an Indian visa. He put up a light on this issue. As we know, there is tension between the two countries, which has made it difficult for Pakistani nationals or those of Pakistani heritage to obtain Indian visas for a long period of time.

In the ICC 2023 World Cup, India was the host, and the same delay happened during the time for the Pakistan Cricket team. The visas got a bit delayed, but in the end, the Pakistan Cricket team travelled to India and played all of their matches in India at the ICC 2023 World Cup. There are more than 40 applications from different teams that have a Pakistani-origin player in their team, staff, and management.

Basically, the players and staff from the Netherlands and Canada have been issued a green light, and they have their visas issued. The players from the UAE, USA, Italy, and Bangladesh will have a meeting the following week, and their visas will also be issued as soon as possible.
