The most powerful team in the Coppa Italia is Juventus, with 15 titles under their belt. They were the defending champions in the 2025 Coppa Italia. Juventus faced Atalanta in the 2024 Coppa Italia finals with a victory of 1-0.

Atalanta has qualified for the finals six times, but has only one title from 1963. On the other hand, Juventus has been a finalist 22 times and has fifteen titles. The next best teams are Internazionale – better known as Inter Milan – and Roma, with nine titles each.
