It is time for Canada to announce the 15-member squad to feature in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026. Basically, Canada announces squad for ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026. As we know, this is going to be the 10th edition of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, as it will kick off on the 7th of February and end on the 8th of March. India and Sri Lanka will be the two hosts of this year’s T20 World Cup.
This is just going to be the second time that Canada will be a part of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup after making their debut in the previous edition of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, which happened in 2024 in the West Indies. Canada won one match, and it was against the Irish team by 12 runs. Their match against India was abandoned due to rain.

Basically, Canada is in Group C of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026. Afghanistan, South Africa, New Zealand, and the United Arab Emirates are in their group for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026. Their first match in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 will be against South Africa on 9th February at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Canada will play their next match at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi (UAE), and the last two group stage matches at the M. A. Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai (New Zealand and Afghanistan).
Dilpreet Bajwa, the youngster, will be the captain of the Canada team in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026. In his career, he has played nine ODIs and more than 15 T20Is. He has almost 400 runs and four half-centuries in the T20I format for his country. Dilpreet was impressive in the T10 league as well. He scored 57* in 18 balls once and 68* in 22 balls the other time. The young Yuvraj Samra will also play an important role in the team as he is an opener.
Ansh Patel was part of the Punjab Kings franchise in the 2022 Indian Premier League edition. He did not play any games, but he will surely share his experience with the team. Saad Bin Zafar, alongside Kaleem Sana, Dilon Heyliger, and Nicholas Kirton, are a few of the big names in the Canada squad who will help the team in every possible way to reach as far as they can in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026.
