Mickey Arthur, who himself played for more than ten years as a domestic player in South Africa, is the owner of the Rangpur Riders in the Bangladesh Premier League. He has also been a commentator. There are a total of three venues where all the matches of the Bangladesh Premier League 2025/26 will be played. Basically, the venues are in Chattogram, Dhaka, and Sylhet.

The Rangpur Riders purchased two of the most prominent Bangladeshi talents in the Bangladesh Premier League auction, who are Towhid Hridoy and Litton Das. They also purchased Emilio Gay and Muhammad Akhlaq in the auction. They will play their first match against the Chattogram Royals on the 28th of December. This will be the 5th match of the Bangladesh Premier League 2025/2026. Sylhet International Cricket Stadium in Sylhet is the venue for the match.
