The Bangladesh Premier League is back, and this is going to be the season number 12, as the BPL 2025-26 Points Table will determine who will see the knockouts. Basically, this edition of the Bangladesh Premier League will start from the 26th of December 2025 and will end on the 23rd of January 2026. All the matches of the Bangladesh Premier League 2025/2026 will be played across three venues. Will we see a new winner or not? That is the question.
In the last edition of the competition, it was Fortune Barishal who won the Bangladesh Premier League, and it was their second title. They won against Chittagong Kings in the final while chasing 195 runs. Eventually, they did it with three balls to spare and won by three wickets. Tamim Iqbal was the Player of the Match in the final, while Khulna Tigers’ Mehidy Hasan Miraz won the Player of the Tournament.

BPL 2025-26 Points Table: Latest Standings & Points Distribution Rules Explained
There are a total of six teams that will participate in the 2025.2026 Bangladesh Premier League, which is one less than the previous edition. Sylhet Titans, Rajshahi Warriors, Chattogram Royals, Noakhali Express, Rangpur Riders, and Dhaka Capitals are the six teams. We will see a total of 34 matches across three venues, which also includes the knockouts.
BSFL Matiur Rahman Cricket Stadium in Chattogram, Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Dhaka, and Sylhet International Cricket Stadium in Sylhet are the venues. All six teams play a total of ten matches in the Bangladesh Premier League 2025/2026. Each team will face off against the others twice in the competition.
For every win, a team gets two points, whereas for every loss, there is no point awarded to any of the teams. In case rain interrupts the match and or the match gets cancelled, then both teams get a point each. The top four qualify for the knockouts as the first and second play qualifier one, and the winner goes to the final. The loser plays the winner of the eliminator (3rd place vs. 4th place). Eventually, this way, the second finalist is determined.
