Baroda Premier League 2025 is a T20 cricket tournament organised by the Baroda Cricket Association. The Baroda Premier League 2025 began on 15 June 2025. It will host a total of 24 matches and conclude on 29 June 2025. Unlike other cricket premier leagues, this one will not include franchise-based teams. The venue of the Baroda Premier League 2025 is the BCA Stadium in Vadodara.
Five teams are participating in the league. They will compete in a double round-robin contest for the first Baroda Premier League trophy. Of the 24 matches, the double round-robin format will cover the initial 20 matches. These will be the qualifier matches, which will lead to the playoff rounds.
The match format has been picked up from the IPL, with the playoff stage consisting of two qualifiers and an eliminator game. Considering this factor, you can guess that four out of five teams will advance to the playoff rounds.
Baroda Premier League 2025: List of Best Players
The Baroda Premier League 2025 has completed its first match on 15 June 2025 between Ami Super Avengers and Diamond Dazzlers at 6:45 PM. The Ami Super Avengers won the match with a lead of 49 runs.
It will conduct two games per day, except for the second qualifier and final match. Currently, the Baroda Premier League 2025 is in the middle of its second match. The match has been delayed due to rain.
List of Best Players
Only a single match has been completed so far. Since the 2025 Baroda Premier League is the debut season of this T20 cricket competition, there isn’t much information about the players.
However, I did come across a few players who have played cricket at a state level. I’ll be including those players along with a few who have performed exceptionally in the first match of the Baroda Premier League 2025.

7) Aaryan Chavda
All of these players, except Aaryan Chavda, have played for the Baroda cricket team. His name is on the list because he took four wickets for the Ami Super Avengers against the Diamond Dazzlers.
6) Jyotsnil Singh
Jyotsnil Singh is an all-rounder cricketer who has played for the Baroda Cricket team. In this first match of the league, he scored 93 runs in 52 balls, which consisted of ten boundaries and four sixes.
5) Atit Sheth
Atit Sheth is an all-rounder and a part of the Baroda cricket team. He has played in two Ranji Trophies, one of which was where he became the top wicket-taker. He had taken 21 wickets in six games. He was also in the Indian squad for the 2018–19 Duleep Trophy and the 2018 ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup.
4) Bhargav Bhatt
A slow left-arm orthodox bowler for the Baroda cricket team, Bhargav Bhatt, was outstanding in his first-class debut season. He took 47 wickets in nine games and became the leading wicket-taker. This performance led to him being signed as a bowler for the Kings XI Punjab team from 2011 to 2013.
3) Lukman Meriwala
Another bowler from the Baroda cricket team is Lukman Meriwala. He is a fast-medium bowler who was the highest-wicket-taker in the 2013/14 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. He was also signed for the Delhi Capitals in the 2021 IPL season.
2) Akash Singh
Born in Rajasthan, Akash Singh is a left-arm medium-fast bowler who made his T20 debut in the 2022 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. He has also been on several national-level games, such as the 2019 ACC Under-19 Asia Cup, the U19 Challenger Cup, and the 2020 Under-19 Cricket World Cup.
Akash was recruited in the IPL by the Rajasthan Royals in 2021, as a replacement for the Chennai Super Kings player in 2023, and in the Lucknow Super Giants in the 2025 IPL.
1) Priyanshu Moliya
Priyanshu Moliya is a batsman for the Baroda cricket team, who has scored a total of 534 runs in his first-class career. His highest score is 144 runs. Priyanshu was also in the 2019 ICC Under-19 World Cup.
