The BPL 2025-26 Squads Revealed, as we had the auction for the 12th edition of the Bangladesh Premier League, which took place on the 30th of November 2025 in Dhaka. Basically, the 12th edition of the Bangladesh Premier League is all set to start on the 26th of December 2025 and will end on the 26th of January 2026, and all the matches will be played across three venues. All the teams in the auction came with a different strategy and purchased players as per their needs. Mohammad Naim Sheikh was the most expensive purchase in the auction, as he was brought in by Chattogram Royals. The other two expensive Bangladeshi players went into the 2017 Bangladesh Premier League Champions, Rangpur Riders. They purchased Towhid Hridoy for 92 lakhs and Litton Das for 70 lakhs.
The overseas players also had their taste of getting expensive picks in the Bangladesh Premier League auction. Dasun Shanaka was the most expensive overseas player in the auction as the Dhaka Capitals purchased him for $55,000. Niroshan Dickwella and Angelo Mathews were the second-most expensive overseas players, as both of them were purchased for $35,000 by the Chattogram Royals and the Sylhet Sixers, respectively.

Bangladesh Premier League 2026 Squads Revealed
All the teams have purchased the players they needed, and the plans were clear to fill the gaps where necessary. Rajshahi Warriors, Rangpur Riders, Sylhet Titans, Dhaka Capitals, Noakhali Express, and Chattogram Royals are the six teams that took part in the Auction, who came to the place to complete their teams
Dhaka Capitals have two great openers with Alex Hales and Dasun Shanaka. With Liton Das being added to the Rangpur Riders, they have got a player who bats in the opening or the number three spot, like he has done for the Bangladesh cricket team over the years. Angelo Mathews will play for the Sylhet Sixers, who give them the experience. They also have Saim Ayub and Mohammad Amir from Pakistan.
