Alyssa Healy is set to retire from International cricket after India series

It had to come at some point in her career, and the moment is here. Alyssa Healy is set to retire from International cricket after the India series. She has been a player who has done almost everything for the Australian women’s cricket team and is also the captain of the Women’s team. Alyssa Healy was made the captain of the team in 2023 after being the successor of Meg Lanning, who herself has a legacy in Women’s cricket.

The Indian Women’s team is all set to begin their tour of Australia on 15th February. Basically, both teams will play a total of three T20Is, three ODIs, and one test match. Alyssa Healy won’t feature in the T20I series as she wants the team to prepare without her for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026, which starts in June 2026 in England. She will feature in the ODI series, and her last match will be a test match at the Perth Stadium in Perth.
