Basically, Zimbabwe is placed in Group B of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026. Australia, Ireland, Oman, and Sri Lanka are the other teams in their group. They will play their first match of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 against Oman at the SSC Cricket Ground in Colombo, Sri Lanka. The Zimbabwe team will play all of its matches in Sri Lanka. Two in R. Premadasa Stadium, Colombo (Sri Lanka and Australia), and the other one in Pallekele Cricket Stadium, Kandy, against Ireland.
The team will be led by Sikandar Raja, who is an all-rounder and a well-known player in Zimbabwean cricket. He is a match-winner and can turn that match on its head.
