Women’s Premier League 2026: Tournament Dates and Format
The fourth edition of the Women’s Premier League 2026 will start on the 9th of January 2026, and the final of the competition is on the 5th of February 2026. There are a total of five teams participating in the Women’s Premier League 2026. Delhi Capitals, UP Warriorz, Royal Challengers Bengaluru, Gujarat Giants, and Mumbai Indians are the teams. Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bengaluru will play the first match of the Women’s Premier League 2026.
All teams will face each other a total of two times in the league stages of the Women’s Premier League 2026. The team that ends in first position after all the league stage matches are over gets a place in the final. Basically, the 2nd-place team and the 3rd-place team will play an eliminator, and the winner of that match goes to the final to face the first-place finish team. Eventually, the winner of the final is crowned as the champion of the Women’s Premier League 2026.

Amelia Kerr was the most expensive international player in the Women’s Premier League 2026 auction. She was picked by the Mumbai Indians. Sophie Devine was purchased by the Gujarat Giants. The South African star batter, Laura Wolvaardt, was picked by the Delhi Capitals. Lauren Bell was picked by the Royal Challengers Bengaluru. Meg Lanning, Phoebe Litchfield, and Sophie Ecclestone all will play for the UP Warriorz.
