The major competition of the Test Format, the ICC World Test Championship 2025, begins its schedule from 17th June, 2025 onwards. So, the top-ranking teams from all over the world are gearing up for the fourth edition of the ICC WTC.
It will be the fourth edition of the ICC WTC since its inauguration, and so far, three different teams have managed to get their hands on the title. The South African team made history by defeating Australia and winning a major title in the ICC Event.
A total of 71 matches are scheduled to take place in the fourth edition between 9 teams. The ICC WTC 2025 competition follows the format of a League and a final, and so the two top-ranking teams will earn a place in the final.

Anderson- Tendulkar Trophy 2025 (England vs India):
Currently, the England Cricket team is scheduled to face India for five test matches beginning from 20th June, 2025, in England. Captain Shubman Gill’s 269 and 161 knocks helped India gain a stunning victory over England in the second match of the series. Lord’s, London, is all set to host the third test match, which will take place on 10th July 2025.

Bangladesh Tour of Sri Lanka, 2025:
Bangladesh Cricket team is scheduled to face Sri Lanka for a long schedule consisting of two Test matches, three ODIs, and three T20Is. Patthun Nissanka scored 187 in the 1st test and 158 in the 2nd Test, helping Sri Lanka to build a strong target. It led Sri Lanka to claim victory by an Innings and 78 runs.

Australia Tour of West Indies, 2025:
West Indies is hosting the three-test match series vs Australia from 25th June 2025 onwards. Australia is dominating the West Indies team in the test series and has managed to win the first two test matches. The third and final test match of the series is scheduled to begin on 12th July 2025, and Kingston, Jamaica, will host the match.
