The salaries of Bangladesh cricketers are decided by their contracts, and the responsibility for players’ contracts is on the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB). BCB released the central contract with players on 10 March 2025. They have secured a total of 22 players for the national squad.
In the 2025 season, BCB decided to change the structure of its contracts. The best-contracted players will be those under Grade A+, followed by A, B, C and Grade D, where Group A+ players will get the highest salary.
The ODI series between Bangladesh and Sri Lanka is currently being played. Both teams have won 1 game each in the first two games of the series. As such, it will be finally decided which team wins this ODI series after this 3rd match.
Bangladesh Cricket Players Salary 2025-26
On 12th March, 2025, Mahmudullah announced his retirement from all formats of international cricket. So, he will not be on the list of the BCB central contract 2025. Mahmadullah has played for the Bangladesh national cricket team from 2007 to March 2025.
Except for Mahmudullah, no player ended up without a contract other than Parvez Hossain Emon. No reason has been given for this decision.

As mentioned during the introduction, the 22 central contract players have been split into five grades. These grades decide the monthly salary of the players. Yes, that is correct, the BCB provides its players with a monthly salary.
Who’s Earning the Most?
The highest category in the central contracts is Grade A+. Taskin Ahmed is the only player in this category because he is considered the best player in the Bangladeshi cricket team. His monthly salary, as per the contract, is 10 lakh taka ($8,152).
Grade A is the second-best contract and has only three players on the list. These players will earn eight lakh taka ($6,522) monthly: Litton Das, Najmul Hossain Shanto, and Mehidy Hassan Miraz. During the contract, Mushfiqur Rahim was also added to Grade A, but he is not on the current list.
Mushfiqur Rahim, former ODI captain, was moved to Grade B after he announced his ODI retirement. In this Grade, he will be earning six lakhs taka ($4,892) per month, along with Nahid Rana, Mustafizur Rahman, Taijul Islam, Mominul Haque, Hasan Mahmud, and Towhid Hridoy.

Bangladesh’s Grade C category has eight cricketers on the list. The players Shoriful Islam, Rishad Hossain, Tanzim Hasan Sakib, Soumya Sarkar, Jaker Ali, Tanzid Hasan, Shadman Islam, and Mahedi Hasan were categorised into Grade C. This category will generate a monthly income of 4 lakh taka ($3,261).
The final category of Bangladesh’s central contract is Grade D. It only consists of two players: Khaled Ahmed and Nasum Ahmed. They will be paid a monthly salary of 2 lakh taka ($1,630).
